One of Tralee’s oldest structures, Maddens, has been transformed into a coffee shop and creative space with its eccentric interiors and outdoor courtyard. everyday provision of specialty coffee. Pets are welcome at Maddens Coffee, and Margaret Thatcher, a resident house dog, welcomes guests every day. Step back in time at this center of oddities and curiosities where everything is for sale—aside from the dog, of course!

The most wonderful hidden gem in Tralee. I lived in this town for 6 months last year and this cafe was by far my favourite place. The coffees were the best in town, and there were loads of delicious pastries. (I’d particularly recommend the cinnamon rolls or the blueberry pastries!)
