Coffeewerk + Press is a unique space that beautifully blends the intricacies of both Irish and international design with the rich aroma of speciality coffee. Nestled in a historic four-century-old building on Ireland’s scenic west coast, this small business is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a conversation starter, bridging the gap between design, coffee, and the local community.
Their commitment to quality is evident in their choice of international roasters, all of whom are champions of ethical business practices. Many of these roasters engage in direct trade, a commendable approach where they generously pay above market rates to both individual and collective farmers across the globe. This not only ensures deserving compensation for these hardworking growers but also promotes environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible farming methods. With every sip of coffee from Coffeewerk + Press, one can truly taste the dedication and passion poured into the industry.

Jungle Cafe Galway Reviews:
Cool & quirky bohemian cafe, great coffee & home made pastries plus excellent breakfast & lunch. It’s outdoor but covered, and the jungly plants make it feel like you’re in a tropical greenhouse. – James
A great find! Brunch and great coffee. They have completely transformed what seems to have been an alleyway into a little outdoor, covered cafe absolutely bursting with plants. Would be a great space to sit and read a book and chill for a while. I got the crepes and they were delicious! Would definitely go back. – Nuala
Great relaxing place for food and coffee. I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast. The food was delicious, well presented and great portions. Prices are very reasonable too. Location is city centre, walking distance to everything. – Ross
Arrived in Galway and came straight here for a coffee. It has one of the most unique and beautiful seating areas I have seen. The coffee was perfect and the staff were very sweet and helpful. There was also a gorgeous dog named Oscar that graced us with his presence. Fully recommend if you visit Galway. – Chris
Great atmosphere!! One of the coolest cafés I’ve been in. Lovely food, great coffee, great music, and very friendly attentive staff! A little tropical escape tucked in the heart of Galway city center. – Sam
This place is like an oasis in the middle of the city. Great ambience and so comfortable. Good coffee, natural juices and healthy and tasty options for breakfast. Plus, the personnel here is so kind. – Silvia
