Café Fia is a community café for Collooney village and its visitors. A registered cooperative that was established in 2016 by neighborhood volunteers, Café Fia has functioned as a pop-up café and offers shares to anybody who wants to be a part of the new community café in Coolaney.
They are known for their top-notch coffee, carefully made by expert baristas who put their heart and soul into every cup. It’s not just the coffee that’s a hit; their menu is packed with a variety of tasty options. From delicious sandwiches and fresh salads to tempting pastries and snacks, there’s something to satisfy all taste buds, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

What an amazing place. It’s now under new management in a sense, it is now ran by a group of volunteers from the community for the community and anyone else that would like to visit. All locally sourced, meats, veg, coffee, free range local eggs and all homemade cakes. At the moment they are open the first weekend of every month, but check their facebook page for when they are open. This is until they can get a few more volunteers so they can open more. The food is lovely, even with a small menu there is something for everyone. The lunchtime menu is very tasty, with soup and toasties to homemade sausage rolls. Well done to all involved, we really enjoyed our food today and will definitely see you next month. – Lisa
